After four attempts and 22 years of attempts, ol’ Flobito finally got to touch down in the Land of the Rising Sun.
Most of it came from just buying the plane ticket and seeing where the chips fall, and fall they did. What resulted was an 8 (7? 9? I’m not sure with the International Date Line) day adventure with a friend from grad school through Japan’s Big Three:
I ate copious amounts of street food, saw the (touristy) sights and even got the chance to watch my favorite Japanese Baseball team, the Tokyo Yakult Swallows play a game:
It was amazing to get a “Bucket List City” off of the list. I can’t wait to go back!
