So like most of my peers, I’m pretty familiar with McDonald’s. Those Golden Arches have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Kid’s birthdays? Saturday afternoons out with “fun” relatives? Broke days as a college student? All McDonald’s.
So when the fine folks at Gen.G Esports approached me to commentate over a Rocket League tournament, thrown by SoCal McDonald’s franchises and featuring employees I jumped at the chance. Video game commentary, and brand I know? Well, Flobo “Novanta” Boyce was off to the races.
