
When people ask me to describe what I do I typically say “I’m a live entertainment professional, anything with a microphone works for me.” So that way when people find out that I am an esports shoutcaster (ie. commentator), it kind of makes sense
After five years of casting Rocket League from my home studio, I (finally) got the chance to be on the call live in front of an audience. Last month, LA Unified School District had a tournament for both high school and middle school children. I, as my alter-ego “Novanta,” covered a very spirited tournament for the middle school division. I wanted to thank my broadcast colleague Max/Keg, who was stuck with me the entire day, haha.
